QAS collect personally identifiable information that will
relate to an individual or a business. We only collect personally identifiable
information that you have provided to us voluntarily.
QAS use this information to respond to the request in
the most appropriate manner. Your details are also added onto our central contact
database.
Collection and use of non-personal information
Non-personal information is automatically collected to
establish data on how the website is accessed and used.
The collection of this non-personal information is done
through the use of “cookie” technology. Cookies are pieces of information
that a website transfers to an individual’s hard drive for purposes of
keeping records. Cookies are stored on your computer by your browser. The cookie
does not contain any personal information about you or provide us with any way
to contact you, and the cookie doesn’t extract any information from your
computer.
How to disable cookies
You can easily delete any cookies that have been installed
in the cookie folder of your browser. For example, if you are using Microsoft
Windows Explorer:
- Open 'Windows Explorer'
- Click on the 'Search' button on the tool bar
- Type "cookie" into the search box for 'Folders and Files'
- Select 'My Computer' in the 'Look In' box
- Click 'Search Now'
- Double click on the folders that are found
- 'Select' any cookie file
- Hit the 'Delete' button on your keyboard

in the "Help" function for information on where to find your cookie
folder.
